BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING SOCIETY (SINGAPORE)
BIOMEDICAL INNOVATION SUMMIT
Where academia meets industry, and medical innovation moves towards real-world impact.
Date: 4th December 2026
Time: 9am to 530pm
Venue: Carlton Hotel Singapore
The Biomedical Innovation Summit (BIS) brings together the academic, clinical and industry communities at the critical junction of technology translation in healthcare where scientific discoveries, emerging technologies and clinical needs are transformed into solutions that can be developed, validated, regulated and ultimately deployed.
BIS creates a common platform for researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs, engineers, industry leaders, regulators, standards professionals and medical technology ecosystem builders to exchange perspectives on what it takes to move innovation from research to translation, and from translation to impact.
This year’s Summit brings together three key programmes:
6th Wearable Technology Workshop
exploring the latest advances in wearable sensing, digital biomarkers and their emerging applications in healthcare.
Connected Medical Device Security Workshop
addressing cybersecurity, interoperability and the evolving requirements surrounding connected medical technologies.
BES Digital Health Seminar
bringing together perspectives across digital health, medical technology, clinical adoption and healthcare innovation.
These programmes are complemented by other ecosystem and networking activities designed to foster conversations and collaborations across disciplines and sectors.
Hear from renowned scientists, technology entrepreneurs, standards and regulatory communities, and leaders building the medical technology ecosystem as they share breakthroughs, translation experiences and perspectives on the future of healthcare technology.
